The RIETER Group has acquired Temco, a company specializing in the production of rollers and yarn guides with highly advanced integrated bearings that allow for “zero” friction yarn sliding.
The quality of the bearings, produced with know-how derived from the German company SKF, allows for decades of use on machines where yarn sliding must be fast and smooth, due to the various passes and deflections, to avoid frequent breakages and slowdowns that lead to high downtime and low yields.
These single and double support rollers are also used in the production of highly sensitive and delicate materials, such as diapers (adult, pet, and baby) and components for lithium batteries.
Temco also manufactures SPINDLES for yarn texturing that drive the inserted discs at speeds of up to 25,000 rpm. In addition to spindles and rollers, they also produce FT friction texturing discs in polyurethane for polyester and polyamide, featuring special compounds that guarantee perfect quality even at high production speeds.
